When we say color or pigment retention we are refe

When we say color or pigment retention we are referring to how much color is left behind once your freshly MIcroblading brows have healed. Generally, After the first MIcroblading session we are hoping to see at least 70% retention of color… 80-90% after your perfecting session. ***These are best case scenarios. ***

I know the pretty pictures on this page and other pages show perfect color but keep in mind these are freshly microbladed brows. Here’s why color retention can’t be predicted or guaranteed:
•Clients vary in following the after care
•Oil production of clients skin
•Sweat production of clients skin
•How your skin metabolizes pigment
•Sun exposure and usuage of SPF
•

While I’m super grateful how I’ve received feedback about how natural my microblading work looks… it should be noted that nothing and I do mean nothing looks as natural as real hair. Because of this, I’m going to always try to preserve as much of your hair as possible for added texture and most natural results. This is one of the reasons I try to always show the before and after images so clients can see where we started and what we were able to achieve.
•
Example 1 (if a client has a lot of texture and density in the front of their brows but nothing on the tail ends, I will likely add more pigment if possible where there was little to no natural hair. While this gives us a higher chance of darker healed results in those areas it still can not compete with natural hair density.)

Example 2 (if you have very thin brows but very dense hair I will likely need to to add shading in order to try to mimic the density you have naturally. Microblading alone in some cases will not achieve the most natural looking brow. Microshading can be the key to more color and “density”.

Show me your brow inspiration and your ultimate goals but please Allow me to manage your expectations at the start of the session so any surprises are the good kind. 😉
